Entry Rules & Regulations
Please read these rules carefully before participating in the Distance - 21 km Half Marathon.
By registering for the Distance - 21 km Half Marathon at the Maharana Pratap Gaurav Marathon 2026, every participant agrees to abide by the rules below. These rules exist to keep every runner, volunteer and spectator safe on race day.
Important Guidelines
Applicable to all Distance - 21 km Half Marathon participants.
- Registration is mandatory; on-spot / walk-in entries will not be accepted.
- Race bibs are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold, gifted or exchanged.
- Participants must display their bib number on the front of the body at all times during the race.
- Minimum age for the 21 KM category is 18 years as on race day.
- Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant violating race rules, without refund.
- Participants are advised to undergo a medical check-up before participating and to run within their ability.
- Medical teams may stop a runner at any point if continuing poses a health risk.
- Runners must adhere to all instructions from race officials, marshals and traffic police along the route.
- Personal support crew and pacing vehicles are not permitted on the course, other than official race vehicles.
- Headphones, if used, should be worn at low volume so that instructions and traffic can still be heard.
- The event follows a strict anti-littering policy; discard waste only at designated points.
- Participants must respect volunteers, officials, fellow runners and residents along the route.
- Runners who miss an intermediate or final cut-off will be marked DNF and must board the sweeper vehicle.
Identification & Eligibility
- A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence, Passport or Voter ID) is mandatory at registration and bib collection.
- Participants with pre-existing medical conditions should consult a physician before registering and carry any required medication on race day.
- False declarations regarding age, identity or medical fitness will lead to disqualification at any stage.
Safety First: The organizers, sponsors and event partners are not liable for any injury,
illness or loss arising from participation. Runners take part at their own risk and are strongly
encouraged to be adequately trained for the 21 KM distance.
